Dear Nourse Farms, et.al., This spring, I ordered day neutral strawberries, Evie and Seascape. I planted them in raised beds that measured 3’ X 6’. I did not grow them in plastic, I used buckwheat hulls for mulch to keep the berries clean. I followed your care instructions and nipped flower stalks and runners until mid season. I fed them ProGro organic granulated fertilizer. I did not have to water as it was a moist spring and early summer here in Vermont.
The plants were huge and lush! They started fruiting just as the latest June berries were done. I have had the most abundant crop of amazing berries in all of my growing career (which is considerable.) I wonder, with these two day neutral cultivars, why anyone would want to labor over and wait for June berries! They are so easy and so healthy.
These two varieties are still pumping out berries, now in mid September, and I have had so many berries (I am the envy of all of my garden buddies, who have been invited to pick my excess.) I am now quite fed up with them (fame and all.)
What stellar winners these berries are! Thanks so much for bringing me the best in berries! I have bloobs and rasps also and I am a berry happy customer!

I just wanted to drop a note thanking Nourse and you for the fabulous service and really standing behind your product. The 5 Himbo Top replacement plants that you sent have all just about jumped out of the ground, all have lots of new growth!!
The 3 Gooseberries are also doing wonderful.

This year is the first time I have ordered from Nourse and I wanted to let you know that I am very pleased with my experience. Your customer service person was very pleasant and helpful. I ordered on a Wednesday afternoon and my order was at my door (Fedex ground) the following mid-morning. The currant bush showed no sign of stress, the strawberries and asparagus looked dead, but within a couple of days of planting the berries, they began to show green leaves. And after soaking the asgaragus before planting, buds began to sprout. I was pleased that the plants and roots were so strong. I would, also, like to say it was a pleasure actually speaking to real people and not a machine that tells you to push every button on the phone to get a recording that says, "I am sorry, I am busy or away from my phone, please leave message and I will return call".

I recently received my order from you of 100 Cavendish strawberry plants. I am letting you know they were the best strawberry plants I have ever received. They must be grade # 1 plants with excellent root systems. Plants ordered from other sources are very small with puney roots.

I just wanted you to know that this is the first time I have ordered from your company. When I received my order this week, and planted the material, I was pleasantly surprised. All the stock that I received looked very mature, healthy and vibrant. It pleased me greatly and I am sure it will at to the success of them getting rooted and set.
I have been an avid gardener my whole life and have ordered plenty of product many times, just not from you. This truly is the best looking stock I have received.

Wanted to drop a quick email to you guys to let you know that as a first-time buyer, I’m completely sold on Nourse Farms. I rec’d the plants on Tuesday afternoon and put them in the ground yesterday morning. I was able to do this largely because of the excellent communication system you have in place. I order my plants in the winter, so having the 2 week "heads up" email prior to delivery enabled me to have the plant beds ready before they arrived. This coupled with the Fedex tracking allowed me to plan my schedule around the plants’ arrival. With other vendors, it’s always been like death (you don’t the day or the hour) of the plant shipment.
Also, the plants themselves were healthy and had ample root stock. I have every expectation of them transitioning to their new home without any difficulties. Thank you.

Just had to send you kudos on the black raspberry plants I received from you about 6 weeks ago. Every one of them is healthy and thriving--all are 12 to 18 inches tall with multiple thick stems and they’re already beginning to bloom! I couldn’t be happier!
