Blueberry Cake
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups flour
2 ½ t. baking powder
½ t. salt
½ cup Crisco
1cup sugar
1 egg unbeaten
¾ cup milk
1 t. vanilla
2 cups blueberries
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add egg and vanilla.
Sift flour, and dry ingredients together.
Add flour
and milk alternately to the shortening mixture. Beat by
hand until smooth. Batter will be thick.
Fold in blueberries.
Sprinkle sugar on top of cake before baking.
Bake at 350 degrees 45-50 minutes in a greased and floured tube pan.
