How do I properly space my horseradish plants?
Horseradish plants should be spaced 10”–12” in the row and 3’ between rows.
How much sunlight do horseradish plants need?
Horseradish plants like direct sun, ideally, for at least eight hours per day. However, if eight or more hours of direct sunlight is not possible, the absolute minimum is six hours per day.
When can I harvest horseradish roots?
It is best not to harvest in the first year to allow the plants to get well established. In subsequent years, you may harvest horseradish roots anytime from midsummer on.
