Caroline is a productive variety that will provide growers with large berries with a rich, full, and intense raspberry flavor. It is a very vigorous variety with good tolerance for root rot. Caroline is widely adapted, growing everywhere from the East Coast to the West Coast, however, it does not tolerate high heat and drought. Growers should be sure to utilize good irrigation practices. Caroline is recommended for U-pick and roadside/fresh market operations.
