Jonkheer van Tets Currant

Jonkheer van Tets is a red currant from Holland, highly rated for its excellent flavor and fruit size. This early variety outperforms others but can be vulnerable to late frosts, so choose its site carefully. In Massachusetts, it matures in early July. Special pruning may be needed. The erect, mildew-resistant bush is easy to pick.
