Released in 1961, Killarney raspberry is especially winter hardy. It is an early mid season variety ripening about a week after Boyne. It has an attractive bright-red color and a good raspberry aroma and flavor. The canes grow upright, are medium-sized and sturdy. This variety would make a great fresh raspberry pie.

We have Grow Killarney for almost 30 years in the western Mountains of Maine at 1800 feet elevation were 30 below is common, exposed to high winter winds of hurricane force and the have thrived!
We have tried Boyne and Latham without success, Killarney is far superior in all aspects ; Hardiness taste and storage.
