Millennium asparagus, developed by Prof. David Wolyn, Univ. of Guelph, Canada, has become a major contributor to the Ontario asparagus industry. Named "Seed of the Year" in 2005 at the Royal Winter Fair in toronto. In our trial, Millennium has been productive, with high quality spears, tender, and has good flavor. Thought to be best adapted to heavier soils, but results from our grower survey indicate success with a wide range of soil types. We recommend trials under your conditions to assess its performance.

We planted 300 crowns 5 days ago and we can eye the rows today. Amazingly healthy roots. We look forward to future harvests. I'd recommend Nourse Farm to anyone. Btw the strawberries we ordered are fabulous too.

Ordered 300 crows in 2018, they were in good condition. I planted them a little shallow and due to this the ferns would fall over the first couple years, some world snap. Its gotten better but i wish i had put them deeper in the ground to begin with. Even with that issue they have survived -20 degree temps several days straight during the winter. Very glad with this variety, the stalks are thick, plentiful and very impressive now after 7 years.

Love the crowns and roots. They were very large and healthy. The came up just a few days after planting.

Roots were very healthy and could be passed for 2 year old! I
Planted this variety in central Michigan over 10 years ago in very heavy soil, planted over old asparagus field, Spears are medium to large, good production over 10 years still producing great, out lasted Jersey Supreme in heavy soil 2 to 1 . I highly recommend in replant or heavy clay type soil.

I highly recommend Nourse Farms great products! Great service!

Came up super fast, within a week most crowns were growing. With many spears on most crowns, in the first year. Surprised how well got started with our sandy gravel soil.
